Ma Simes Surf Contest

Its been a ten year wait, but finally the Ma Simes Surf Contest is back!

The competition is set to run on the Sunday 7th of August 2011 at Whitesands Beach, Pembrokeshire.

It will include a Senior and Junior [Under 16s] Event. There will be a bbq down the beach during the day. The entry fee will be £5 (this includes free entry to the after party at the Rafa club where there will be live music)

Competition

The junior event will run in the morning followed by the seniors.The draw for the competition will be done on the day by the judges.

The competition will be knockout format and judged on your best two waves. Each heat will be 15 minutes long with the winner progressing into the next round and second place entering a runners up round.

Prizes

First, Second and Third places will receive their entry fee back and prizes will be donated by our sponsors Ma Simes, SDF Surfboards, The Bench, Gianni’s Ice Cream’s, TYF, Match Media. The First prize will be custom surfboard from SDF surfboards and Ma Simes.

Registration

Registration for the competition will be done through Ma Simes Surf Hut, upon registration you will receive a leaflet which will includes a detailed breakdown of the events.

All proceeds go towards – Surfers Against Sewage & The Gentlemens Club.
