At Ma Simes we try to offer you everything that you need to go surfing or just have a bit of fun in the water whilst your on holiday in Pembrokeshire. Below is what we can offer you.

Shop and e-shop

All of the products that are available on the website are available to buy from our well stocked surf shop on two floors. If you visit the shop any of our staff can provide you with an expert wetsuit fitting service or advice with any aspect of surfing.

Hire

If you fancy a surf but have forgotten your board or wetsuit no problem, we can offer you a board and or wetsuit from our hire service. For your convenience we offer our hire service at two locations directly from the shop and at Whitesands beach carpark.

Rates

Surfboards £4.00 per hour or £12.00 per day

Boadyboards £3.00 per hour or £8.00 per day

Wetsuits (3mm) £3.00 per hour or £8.00 per day

Hire from the beach is only available from May to October, at all other times equipment can be rented from the shop. We can also offer you winter wetsuits (5mm) and new for 2011 demo surfboards from Surftech and Firewire.

Surf lessons  £35.00 per session

Ma Simes can offer you surf lessons through Whitesands Surf School. Whitesands surf school was set up in 2001 to provide surfing tuition to a wide range of people of all ages and abilities. All of their instructors are friendly, experienced surfers and are all qualified B.S.A. instructors and beach lifeguard award holders.

Whitesands Surf School run two lessons per day from May to October at Whitesands beach where you will be taught the initial techniques of catching waves and riding them. Also you will be introduced to beach safety whilst surfing and an introduction to the basic equipment used as a beginner.

The surf school aims to introduce you to the sport of surfing in a safe and fun way, as recognised by the British Surfing Association.

CAMPSITE

Glan-Y-Mor campsite is situated in a beautiful location, 5 minutes walk from St. Davids and 3 minutes from the beach at Caerfai. 3 miles from Whitesands. .This year we are taking bookings, please contact us if you wish to book. Off season prices are from £6 per adult per night, £4 per under 14 per night and free for children under 5. Hook ups are £4.00/night.
