The official Ma Simes Surf School, run by WSS and sponsored by Rip Curl Wetsuits is the only dedicated surf school in St Davids. Our business is surfing and you will be instructed by fully qualified surf instructors hand picked by the Ma Simes crew with optimum time spent on the beach and in the water.

Surf lessons are £35.00 per session including all equipment

The surf school was set up in 2001 to provide surfing tuition to a wide range of people of all ages and abilities. All of our instructors are friendly, experienced surfers and are all qualified B.S.A. instructors and beach lifeguard award holders.

WSS runs two lessons per day from May to October at Whitesands beach where you will be taught the initial techniques of catching waves and riding them. Also you will be introduced to beach safety whilst surfing and an introduction to the basic equipment used as a beginner.

The surf school aims to introduce you to the sport of surfing in a safe and fun way, as recognised by the British Surfing Association.
